Beach coats, salt and sand
For dogs that spend time on the beach, a regular bath and thorough brush-out makes a real difference. We wash out sand and salt, blow-dry and brush right down to the skin, and hand-dry every dog. We never use cage dryers. Double-coated breeds like goldens, shepherds and huskies benefit from a de-shedding bath and brush between full grooms, and doodles and poodle crosses usually need a full groom every four to eight weeks to stay mat-free.
